"Black mothers love their sons and raise their daughters".

Y'know, we have a discussion about this statement quite often, 'round these stomping grounds of mine. The climate is chauvinist, no doubt about it.

& I totally, one thousand percent agree with this statement.
Allow me to rant a bit:

I think that slavery (gosh, I hate resorting back to slavery) has completely damaged the psyche of the black man, and his relationships with women. It has enabled black men to think that disrespecting a woman is acceptable. It's not. peep this:
